At the Institute of Cartography and Geoinformatics at ELTE, two Master's programs are currently available: the Cartography MSc and the Geoinformatics MSc.

The Cartography program has a long tradition: formal cartographic education began in 1955, and it remains the only institution in Hungary where one can earn a degree in cartography. Although the past  70 years have brought significant technological changes, the high standard of education has remained constant. The Cartography master programme in english language lauched first in 2016, since then several students took a successfull final exam. The Geoinformatics MSc program was launched in english language in 2024.
